Our Camp Psych Consulting program provides specialized clinical expertise to assist camp staff, campers, and their families in effectively managing a range of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges encountered during the summer and beyond into the off-season.

The comprehensive support program is designed specifically for camp environments, ensuring your staff is fully prepared to meet the diverse needs of campers. The program includes:

Summer Services

Conduct a staff orientation seminar focused on understanding typical child development, addressing campers' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, and developing individual motivational/behavior plans.

Confer with staff during orientation and through site visits to discuss and address specific campers' needs and facilitate problem-solving strategies.

Offer remote consultation via phone and video to provide guidance on specific children and/or camp situations.

Integrate direct engagement with staff through discussions, problem-solving, and development of strategies for individual camper needs.

Year Round Services

Serve as a vital intermediary between campers' private mental health providers and the camp, ensuring seamless communication and support both during the summer and in the off-season.

Proactively review the Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and social/emotional needs of at-risk campers during the off-season, laying the groundwork for a successful and enriching summer experience.

Facilitate meaningful conferences with parents and staff as needed, ensuring alignment and collaboration in supporting campers' well-being and development.
